Drift off to sleep gently rocking on the waves of the sea in the themed room ‘de Vaarboom’. This bright, spacious themed room combines all the charm of a boat journey with the comforts of a hotel room. Rinse off the salty sea under the wonderfully large rain shower in the separate bathroom and enjoy the typical Dutch harbor landscape depicted in lifelike paintings. Even the history of Dutch harbors can be admired in the form of The Brandaris, Hotel New York, and the Veersche Toren on the sky-blue walls.

In this theme room, the entire decoration is based on impressive China. The signs on the door and the unique sculptures and paintings make you believe that you are in a Chinese temple.

If you make conscious choices to be a hotel as green as possible, you do it from an ideological point of view. Hotel de Plataan is self-conscious of her duty to make a green fee. We do this for ourselves, but the recognition we see as a compliment and as motivation to improve this even further.
