Work spaces in Delft

A change of scenery can change your study and work rhythm. Don’t be bothered by that pile of laundry and the hustle and bustle in your student house, but simply change your scenery. Study and work at Hotel de Plataan!

We open our café, meeting rooms and hotelrooms as a work and study area. We offer workplaces in our café, a silent study space in the large meeting room and seven project rooms that have enough space for two people. During a break you can take a stroll through the streets behind the Nieuwe Kerk.

What do we offer?

We offer a workplace in our café and the silent study space for one time lock with WiFi and electricity for only €4,00 per person. If you want a work or projectroom for two of four people, the prices are €12,00 of € 20,00 per room.

If you would also like to study in the evening, we also have an evening shift. Of course it would be nice to have something to eat here. This is why you can make use of our fridge, freezer, microwave and oven. For instance, we can heat up a pizza for you from Albert Heijn (around the corner in the Choorstraat).

Measures

It goes without saying that Hotel de Plataan takes the corona measures into account. All workplaces are organised maintaining a distance of 1.5 metres. In addition, Hotel de Plataan provides a ventilation system where fresh air is supplied and polluted indoor air goes directly outside. There is no recirculation that, according to the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, could possibly contribute to the spread of the virus. In case of health problems, stay home.

Reservation

These are the time slots in which you can study and work:

• 9:00 – 13:00
• 13:30 – 17:30
• 18:00 – 22:00

Our rules

For our work spaces, there are a few rules that you should take into notice:

• You confirm to be healthy and will cancel the reservation when you are having symptoms of COVID-19. Please apply to this.
• If you are inside our building, take the RIVM measures into action.
• We will keep the work space reserved for you until one hour after the start of the shift, if you already know you are going to be late, please let us know.

• You always rent the project rooms or work spaces for 2 or 4 people, of course you can also come with less, but then nothing will change in the price.
